I am drawn to the quiet power of everyday moments—especially those between a mother and her child, and the sacred stories that shape our faith. Light is never just illumination; it is a way of revealing the soul. My hope is that each painting offers a place of peace, remembrance, and gentle joy.
A native of Utah who now makes her home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Cynthia Jensen has been painting since her youth. After studying art at the University of Utah, she devoted herself to family and continued refining her craft as both a painter and art educator.
Her work centers on the human figure—particularly women and children—rendered with soft, luminous color and careful attention to the emotional truth of each subject.
